Test Prices & What Is Included

What a charge covers, what changes it, and how to get your figure before you travel.

We do not publish a rate card, because a printed price goes stale and a wrong one is worse than none. What we can do is tell you exactly what a charge covers, what changes it, and how to get your figure before you travel — call 6909748687 and the front desk will quote you on the phone.

What the charge for a test covers

One price covers the whole study, not a list of parts:

  • The technologist's time, and the room and equipment for as long as the recording takes.
  • Consumables — electrodes, gel, needles where the study uses them.
  • Reporting by the specialist who reads the recording.
  • The written report itself, released to you or to your referring doctor.

There is no separate "reporting fee" added afterwards. If a study cannot be completed — a child who will not settle, a recording spoiled by interference — we will tell you what that means for the charge before you leave.

What makes one test cost more than another

  • Which study it is. A routine EEG takes 30–45 minutes; a video EEG runs for hours with a camera and a technologist attending. They are not the same piece of work.
  • How much is examined. A nerve conduction study of one limb is a smaller study than one covering all four, and your referral usually decides which.
  • Whether a needle study is added. EMG is often done alongside NCV; it is a separate procedure and is charged as one.
  • Overnight or daytime. An overnight sleep study occupies a room and staff all night.
  • Where it happens. A home or bedside study may carry a travel charge, which is confirmed with you before the visit is arranged — never added afterwards.

What is not included

The consultation with the neurologist is charged separately from any test it leads to. Medicines, imaging done elsewhere, and treatment at another hospital are that provider's charges, not ours — including anything arranged through treatment assistance, where the hospital bills you directly.

How to get your figure

Call or WhatsApp 6909748687 with the name of the test, or read us what the referral says. If you are not sure which study you need, book a consultation first — being quoted for the wrong test helps nobody.

Ask when you book rather than on the day. Patients travelling in from other districts should ask before setting out, so the journey is made knowing the cost.

Paying, and claiming it back

Consultations and tests are billed directly at the centre. There is no confirmed cashless or TPA empanelment at present, so an insurance claim is made on a reimbursement basis using the itemised bill, the signed report and the referral — billing & payment explains what we give you and what to check with your insurer first.

Prices change. Anything quoted to you on the phone holds for that booking; treat nothing you read elsewhere online as current.
