Inside The Neuro Lab
Gallery
A look inside our Agartala centre.
1 album
Photographs from The Neuro Lab at Krishna Nagar, Agartala — the consultation chamber where patients meet our neurologist, and the recording area where EEG, video EEG, NCV and EMG studies are carried out.
Every study is performed by our own technologist on the centre's equipment and reviewed by a specialist before the report is released. If you would like to see the centre before booking, call us and visit during OPD hours.
What the rooms are for
The consultation chamber is where a visit starts: history, examination, and a decision about which test — if any — would actually answer the question. Nobody is sent for a study before that conversation.
The recording area is a quiet room, because the signals being measured are small. An EEG records brain activity through electrodes resting on the scalp; a nerve conduction study and EMG measure how nerves and muscles carry signals along the arm or leg. A video EEG adds a synchronised camera so an event can be matched against the trace.
You will not see patients in these photographs. Recordings and reports are confidential, and the centre is shown empty for that reason.
Prefer to watch a test being performed rather than look at the room? The video gallery shows each study step by step. To visit, call 6909748687 — we are open 8 am to 9 pm, every day.
